Cool down with this vibrant refresher made with tangy fresh-squeezed lemonade, muddled blackberries, and a hint of garden-fresh mint. Lightly sweetened and poured over ice, it’s the perfect balance of tart, sweet, and refreshing—finished with a sprig of mint garnish for a crisp, invigorating sip in every glass.

We have been in the upper 90s the past few weeks and our blackberries and mint were coming on strong. I’ve seen The Sassy Barn make these drinks and thought it was such a good idea! Using fresh ingredients that are in season, it makes it an easy and delicious spin on plain water. It is so simple. I hope you try it.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup fresh blackberries or fresh fruit in season
- 1/2 lemon, quartered
- Sprig or two of mint leaves
- 2-3 teaspoons of sugar, sweetened to your liking
- Lots of ice
- Water
That’s it!
Instructions
Place blackberries in a jar along with quartered lemon and mint leaves.
Add 2-3 teaspoons of sugar and then muddle everything together to release all the flavors together.
Next, add lots of crushed ice.
Fill with water, stir and enjoy!

- crushed ice

Instructions

- Muddle ingredients together with a wooden spoon.
- Add lots of crushed ice then fill with water.
- Stir and enjoy!
