Golden Retrievers

Known for their “happy-go-lucky” attitude, eagerness to please, and intelligence, Golden Retrievers are popular and beloved family dogs. Because they are naturally warm, welcoming and gentle, they make ideal dogs for kids. They are playful, easy to train, and affectionate without being overly aggressive or territorial.

We have been raising Golden Retrievers for the past 5 years on our little homestead.

Golden Retriever Puppies in Missouri

Being located in Central Missouri, most of our pups have found homes in the Kansas City area, but we have had families take them as far as Texas, Iowa and Alabama.

FAQ about our Golden Retriever Puppies

How are the puppies being raised and socialized?

Puppies are raised on a small homestead where our 4 children take part in caring for and socializing our puppies.

Are they registered?

Yes! Each litter is AKC (American Kennel Club) registered and registration papers will be given to each new owner.

Can I visit to see the puppies and mother in person?

Yes, we would welcome it! Although Golden Retrievers have a common demeanor, personalities among the puppies can differ. We understand it is an investment to buy a purebred, so we want the experience to be personal and positive.

When do the puppies go to their new homes?

Puppies remain with their mom until about 8 weeks of age. This time is important for them to learn socialization and behavioral development from their mom. During weeks 6-8, they start gaining more and more independence.

Do puppies receive shots and wormer?

Yes. We strive to keep our puppies healthy and thriving. They are given dewormer starting at 2 weeks of age and repeated every 2 weeks until they go to their new home. Puppies also receive a 5-way (Canine Distemper, Parainfluenza, Parvovirus, Adenovirus type 1 and 2) vaccine between 6-8 weeks of age. This is all covered in the cost of your puppy.

Will you provide a health certificate from a vet?

No, families are responsible for establishing care for their puppy with the vet of their choice. If there are known issues with any of the puppies those will be disclosed or addressed.

How much do the puppies cost?

Please inquire below for cost and availability.

How do I reserve a puppy?

Puppies are reserved based on a first come, first serve basis. Puppies are only reserved/held once a deposit is received.
