Preheat oven to 350°.
In a deep skillet, brown meat over medium heat, then drain off grease.
Add marinara sauce and water to browned meat and simmer for about 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a mixing bowl, stir together ricotta cheese, half of mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, eggs, parsley, Italian seasoning, salt and pepper.
Pour about 1 cup of meaty sauce on the bottom of a 9x13 pan.
Next layer noodles, followed by cheese mixture, then more sauce.
(Optional) Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese before adding another layer.
Once layers are complete, top with other half of mozzarella cheese, and sprinkle with oregano.
Over with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
Remove foil and bake for another 5-10 minutes.
