How to make Irresistible Peanut Butter Bars

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In an electric mixer, cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar. Add eggs and peanut butter and beat until fluffy. Add remaining ingredients and mix until just combined.

Spread out batter evenly on a greased 10×15-inch baking sheet.

Bake for 15-18 minutes, or just until starting to brown at the edges. Do not overbake.

In a small saucepan (or a bowl in the microwave for 30 seconds), melt chocolate chips. Stir in peanut butter. Spread on top of warm bars, then refrigerate until chocolate is set.

Cut into squares and enjoy!

    My whole household loves these! I switched out 1 cup all purpose flour for 1 cup oats (3 cups total) for extra fiber and ground up the oats to omit any possible oaty texture…additionally added some extra peanut butter for more moisture to the bar portion. It’s simple and keeps our peanut butter cravings satisfied for over a week.
